WHAT ARE WE STUDYING CURRENTLY?

Sunday Mornings

We have just finished the book of Mark on Sunday Mornings for Church Service.  We will begin the Old Testament book of Micah.

Sunday Evenings

On Sunday evenings, we have two different classes.   One class is currently covering Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount."  Another class is going through Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace University.

Wednesday Nights

Follow along with our ongoing Wednesday night Bible study as we dive into the book of Revelation.  Come join us at 6:00 each week.  What a hope we have in the coming of our Lord.  "Let Your kingdom come!"  (SEE POWERPOINT HERE)

God's Redemptive Story and the Great Invitation

Despite our beliefs about God's Word, many of us are intimidated by it.  Seeing it as a jumbled assortment of highly complex texts removed from our time, we consider the Bible to be inaccessible, and we shy away from true study.  Though it is true that the Bible is complex, as it was written by the Holy Spirit, it is completely accessible to believers with His help.  Furthermore, it is important that we see the bible as ONE UNIFIED STORY of God's plan to redeem mankind and all of creation through Jesus Christ.  With daily practice and dependence on the Holy Spirit, you will begin to notice this common thread running throughout scripture.  This resource will provide you with the BASICS:  God's Redemptive Story and The Great Invitation

Bible 101 Course

The Bible 101 course is a series of lessons designed to help ANYONE  gain a basic understanding of the Bible and identify basic practices for reading studying the Bible.   The course has been divided into three different phases:  Introduction, Bible History and Organization, and Bible Study Practices.  At the end of the course, you will find additional resources to help you study the Bible.  Each lesson contains an overall objective, assignments, and resources to accomplish each assignment task (including videos, graphics, sermons, articles, etc).  While the course can be completed by an individual, one of the goals of the course is to provide an environment where individuals can study and discuss God's word together.  Feel free to use all lessons and resources!  CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE BIBLE 101 COURSE.
